Today, the Europeana Collections 1914-1918 Project finishes its work. During its three-year lifetime, the project has achieved many things.
It has enriched Europeana with more than 400,000 items related to the First World War. The 12 project partners from eight European countries have also developed an eLearning Website, a Virtual Exhibition and contributed to the thematic portal www.europeana1914-1918.eu to foster the re-use of the material.
In addition, Europeana Newspapers collaborated with Europeana Collections 1914-1918 to produce a digital commemoration of the First World War.
