All 17 partners of the Europeana Newspapers project have met in Berlin at the beginning of this month (1st – 2nd March 2012).
A very successful event was hosted by the project leader – Berlin State Library (SBB). The Work Package leaders met on the first day of the meeting to clarify all the open questions regarding the project’s tasks, activities, deliverables and milestones. The rest of the first day was dedicated to the mutual introduction of partners and of the project as a whole.
The second day was allocated to a detailed introduction of the Project Work Packages, interpreted by their respective leaders. Aleš Pekárek from LIBER introduced WP6 – Dissemination and Exploitation.
The kick-off meeting was crowned by a joint group photo. All the partners are looking forward to the successful implementation of this promising Europeana Newspapers project.
