This workshop is the part of the Task 2.1 of the project – Analysis and selection of digitized newspapers content for refinement. It is meant for technical and content providers in order to align the selection of the final dataset.
Some initial themes for the workshop are:
– To discuss technical feasibility wrt the selection of newspapers from content providers
– To familiarise libraries with the refinement technologies used in the project
– To demonstrate some initial results using real data from content providers
– To agree the planning and timelines for content processing
– To elaborate on the delivery of data to technology partners, and, first refinement results to TEL
– To determine precisely which content goes into which workflow
– To agree on the libraries and volumes participating in data correction (CCS workflow)
